A Metro Police vehicle has been involved in a crash with a car, and two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.
The crash happened about 11:30 a.m. on South Durango Drive at the 215 Beltway, Metro said. The lone officer in the Metro vehicle and the woman driving the car were taken University Medical Center, police said.
Durango was closed in both directions for more than two hours, and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
No additional details were immediately released.
