A suspect has been arrested in the death of a man found shot to death in August at a Las Vegas apartment, according to Metro Police.
Edward Jones, 28, was arrested Thursday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a count of open murder, police said.
The incident was reported about 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 11 in the 4800 block of East Tropicana Avenue, police said. Officers responded to a report of an injured man and determined the victim had been shot, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the time, police said they had not identified a motive or a suspect in the case. Police did not say how they identified Jones as a suspect.
