A man who reportedly threatened another person with a knife was taken into custody after a short standoff with officers, according to Metro Police.
Dispatchers received a call about 7:45 a.m. of the incident in the area of Vegas and Stony drives, police said.
Officers located a suspect, who fled on foot into a soccer field in the 4700 block of Vegas Drive, police said.
He was taken into custody following a brief standoff and transported to University Medical Center for treatment of a bite from a police dog, Metro said.
Nobody else was injured, police said.
