Pedestrian hit, killed on Las Vegas freeway

A pedestrian crossing Interstate 15 in Las Vegas was struck by multiple vehicles and killed on Monday, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The patrol identified the pedestrian as Theodore Leon Boothe, 43, of Las Vegas.

The incident happened about 9:25 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Sahara Avenue, the patrol said.

Boothe was hit by an SUV and then struck again by a car and a tractor-trailer, the patrol said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
