Apartment fire near Las Vegas Strip displaces 18 residents

Fire damaged an apartment building in the 4600 block of Koval Lane, near Harmon Avenue, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, according to the Clark County Fire Department. Nobody was injured, officials said.

Eighteen people were displaced from their homes after a fire early today at an apartment complex east of the Strip, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

The fire was reported about 5:20 a.m. in the 4600 block of Koval Lane, south of Harmon Avenue.

Flames were coming from the second floor of a fourplex building, officials said. Crews searched the building to make sure nobody was trapped inside, officials said.

Fire investigators were on the scene, and no damage estimate was available, officials said.

The American Red Cross was assisting residents, officials said.
