Man charged in brother’s shooting death in Las Vegas mobile home

Metro Police said they were investigating a homicide Friday, April 29, 2022, in the the 3900 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North.

A man was shot to death in a northeast Las Vegas mobile home today, and his brother has been arrested and charged with murder, according to a news release from the department.

Officers were dispatched to investigate a shooting at a residence near the 3900 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard at around 8 a.m. Friday and arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home, the release stated. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The responding officers’ report stated that the man had been in a verbal altercation with his brother Michael Miguel, 27. During the argument, the deceased was shot by Miguel who then called police, according to the release.

Miguel was taken into custody without incident and was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was booked on a charge of murder.

The deceased has not been identified, and his cause of death is to be determined.
