The suspect in a fatal Las Vegas shooting on Thursday afternoon was arrested in Jean, according to Metro Police.
Jonathan Bolton, 38, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on an open murder charge, officials said today in a news release.
The incident occurred near Charleston and Decatur boulevards, where officers were dispatched at about 3:56 p.m. Thursday to investigate a shooting stemming from a verbal altercation, according to police. They found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds laying in the road.
The verbal disagreement started in a nearby parking lot, officials said. The victim was chased into the street and shot, officials said.
The suspect fled in an older sedan. It’s unclear when Bolton was arrested. No other details were immediately available.
