Police: Assisted living worker allegedly stole residents' ID in Las Vegas

An assisted living facility worker was arrested on charges of identity theft involving residents at the facility, according to a Metro Police release.

Tami Friend, 41, was arrested and accused of stealing residents’ personal information and using it for personal purchases, the release stated. Police did not specify where she was working.

Friend was detained at her residence and booked into Clark County Detention Center for three counts, including identity fraud, exploitation of a vulnerable person and monetary theft, according to the report.

During the investigation, detectives located personal identifying information of additional elderly victims, the release stated.
