A juvenile was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Sunrise Manor on Tuesday, according to a Metro Police release.
The collision occurred on East Owens Avenue east of North Nellis Boulvard at about 5:45 p.m., police reported.
Evidence at the scene showed a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup was traveling east when it struck the pedestrian outside of a marked crosswalk.
The juvenile was transported to University Medical Center’s Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The pickup’s driver and his passenger remained at the scene and were uninjured, the statement said.
