Metro Police is investigating the homicide of a woman in southwest Las Vegas, officials announced this afternoon.
Officers at about 9:06 a.m. Saturday were notified of a woman who was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 3800 block of Mapleview Court. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Metro.
Police offered little details in a new release announcing the investigation, saying the cause and manner of death will later be released by the Clark County Coroner. The victim’s age is unknown.
