Vegas Play of the Day: Colts at Titans

We’ve entered the fourth season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1.

Starting bankrolls have reset to $10,000, with the maximum bet being to win $1,000 and the minimum wager $300. Ray Brewer won back-to-back titles in the 2015-2016 and 2016-17 seasons, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-2015.

Indianapolis Colts plus-7 at Tennessee Titans: $880 to win $800

The Titans were expected to take a big step forward this season, but through five weeks, there haven't been many signs of improvement — and that includes third-year quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Even before missing last week with a hamstring injury, Mariota was having a disappointing season, completing 60 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and three interceptions. So his return may not have the transformational impact you'd expect from a "franchise QB."

As for the Colts, they're living well above their means. Jacoby Brissett is settling in a little more with every passing week, and Indy's run defense has been surprisingly decent (3.9 yards per carry allowed). I think they'll be able to hem in Tennessee's power running game and keep this one close enough to cover.

Current Standings: Granger (7-7, $11,475), Keefer (11-8-1, $10,781), Grimala (5-5, $9,595), Brewer (10-11, $8,330)
