North Las Vegas police released photos today of one of two men wanted in connection with a grocery store robbery last month.

Investigators said the robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. on July 14 at the Fresh and Easy grocery store, 265 West Centennial Parkway. Police said surveillance video shows two men ordered employees to the rear of the closed store at gunpoint, demanded cash from a safe and placed the cash in green money bags.

The men then took personal items from employees before ordering them into the store cooler. The robbers then ran out of the store.

One man was described as black, about 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds. He had long, messy, braided hair and was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored pants. Authorities said the second man was described as black, 6-feet tall and 190 pounds. He had a shaved head and was seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Investigators said the photos show the shorter man carrying a cardboard box with money out of the store. Police couldn't get quality images of the taller man.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at 633-9111.
