High school football scoring updates

End of first quarter:

• Liberty and Durango stayed scoreless at 0-0.
• Palo Verde is leading Del Sol, 13-6.
• Silverado is a touchdown ahead of Centennial, which still has a goose egg on the board. At the end of the first, the score is 7-0, Silverado.
• Arbor View is leading Green Valley, 7-3.
• Bishop Gorman is leading Dixie, Utah, 14-6 at the end of the first.
• Cimarron-Memorial is storming Desert Pines, 20-0.
• Senior Reggie Bullock returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown for Las Vegas and senior Tanner Wood returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown for Pine View, Utah. Las Vegas and Pine View, Utah, are tied 7-7.
• Faith Lutheran is leading Pahrump by three touchdowns with a score of 21-0.

Halftime:

• Boulder City is trailing River Valley, Ariz., by six points. The score is 6-0 at the half.
• Liberty 21, Durango 0. Liberty scored three rushing touchdowns in the second quarter.
• Palo Verde is still leading Del Sol, now by 15 points. At the half, the score is 21-6.
• Silverado is leading Centennial by two touchdowns -- and the Bulldogs still have nothing on the scoreboard. At the half, the score is 14-0.
• Arbor View is still leading Green Valley, but both teams put up touchdowns in the second quarter. The score is now 21-10, Arbor View.
• Pine View is leading Las Vegas, 21-7. Pine View's senior quarterback scored two short touchdowns in the second quarter to boost the Panthers.
• Cimarron-Memorial is still leading Desert Pines, but the Jaguars have put a touchdown on the board. At halftime, the score is 26-6.
• Faith Lutheran is still ahead of Pahrump with a score of 33-7.
• Bishop Gorman and Dixie, Utah, are still locked at 14-6, with Bishop Gorman leading.

End of third quarter:

• Boulder City is still trailing River Valley, Ariz. The score is 6-3.
• Palo Verde has a strong lead over Del Sol. The score is 21-6 at the end of the third.
• Liberty has scored another touchdown. Going into the fourth, Liberty is leading Durango, 28-0.
• Silverado is still two touchdowns ahead of Centennial. At the end of the fourth, the Skyhawks are leading, 14-0.
• Green Valley has made no progress in its effort to overtake the lead from Arbor View. The score is still 21-0.
• Pine View is running away with it over Las Vegas, 35-7
• Cimarron-Memorial is up 39-6 over Desert Pines.
• Faith Lutheran has 43 points to Pahrump's 7.
• Boulder City has pulled ahead of River Valley, Ariz., and is now leading 10-6 at the end of the third.
• Bishop Gorman and Dixie, Utah, are now tied, 14-14.

Final:

• Liberty has defeated Durango, 35-7.
• Silverado has blanked Centennial, 21-0.
• Pahrump put up another touchdown in the fourth; however, it wasn't nearly enough to overtake Faith Lutheran. The Crusaders won, 43-14.
• Pine View beats Las Vegas, 41-13
• Arbor View has defeated Green Valley, 28-10. Arbor View's offense was key in this game. The Gators' only touchdown was on a kickoff return. Arbor View's Gabe Toney led the Aggies with two touchdowns -- a running touchdown in the first and a reception later in the game.
• Junior running back Stephen Nixon scored three touchdowns, and the Spartan defense added two scores as Cimarron-Memorial rolled to its first win of the season over Desert Pines, 46-6.
• Palo Verde quarterback Kelly Zurowski threw for two touchdowns and an interception return to lead his team to a 34-6 victory over host Del Sol.
• Bishop Gorman defeated Dixie, Utah, 20-14, after Jordan Welte scored on a 1-yard run to end the game in overtime. The Gaels' Charles Childers intercepted the ball in the end zone in overtime, giving his team the ball and Welte was able to score. Welte had 98 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns.
