McDonald’s locations across Southern Nevada are gearing up to hire hundreds of part-time workers.
The company is looking to hire 500 to 600 part-time employees during a Tuesday hiring event.
Applicants can visit any Southern Nevada McDonald’s on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to apply or submit an application on McDonald’s Nevada website.
“Given our challenges in today’s economy, instead of hiring two or three hundred full time employees, we wanted to create 500-600 part-time job opportunities for people in the local community," said Ron Smith, vice president of the Greater Las Vegas McDonald’s Operator Association.
Positions will include benefits, which will depend on the number of hours worked and location.
