Society Café Iron Chef winner Bryan Forgione took over the kitchen in late 2012 at Society Cafe Encore as the new executive chef. "It is an exciting opportunity for me to put some of my own signature touches on the menu through utilizing and supporting local and natural ingredients and integrating them onto the menu whenever possible.”
However, big changes are not expected at the restaurant,
which was listed in the book “Eating Las Vegas 2013: The 50 Essential Restaurants.”
The Las Vegas Weekly's Brock Radke found in March 2013 that the restaurant was still running smoothly under Forgione's direction and sampled the pastrami hash, finding it showed that Forgione is taking his time to get the comfort food right.
Society Cafe Encore is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night bites from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
