51s hitters den Dekker, Satin have big games in blowout of El Paso

Matt den Dekker was a triple away from hitting for the cycle today for the Las Vegas 51s, going 3 for 5 with three runs scored in a 10-2 victory against host El Paso for the fifth consecutive Las Vegas win.

Andrew Brown connected on his seventh home run of the season and had three RBIs for Las Vegas, helping improve the 51s record to a Triple-A best 30-11 overall. Josh Satin added four hits, three runs and two RBIs.

Top pitching prospect Noah Syndergaard (5-2) surrendered a first-inning run for his second straight outing but rebounded to strike out five batters in five innings for the win.

The series continues Saturday.
