51s’ early lead quickly erased at El Paso in 7-4 loss

Andrew Brown hit a solo home run today for the Las Vegas 51s in the first inning at El Paso, but the 51s surrendered two runs in the bottom half of the inning and never recovered in a 7-4 loss.

Omar Quintanilla had three of the 51s’ 13 hits and Daniel Muno hit a pinch-hit solo home run in the eighth inning. Josh Satin added two hits and two RBIs.

The four-game series ends Friday at 6:05 p.m. Las Vegas (34-19) leads the series 2-1.

The 51s return to Cashman Field at 7:05 p.m. Saturday to face the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
