Centennial high football players Sky Rodriguez, Tishawn Barnaby, and Paul Blair before the 2015 Season.

The version of Centennial everyone expected this season showed up for the second quarter in a 47-18 blowout victory over Shadow Ridge.

After a tight first quarter that the Bulldogs won 14-6, they broke out for the rest of the game. Junior quarterback Jamaal Evans threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns, while also scoring on the ground.

Evans’ favorite target, junior receiver Savon Scarver, found the end zone twice and tallied 100 receiving yards. Junior Marvin Perkins also returned an interception for a touchdown.

Centennial travels to take on rival Palo Verde next week.
