Police: Suspect sought in sexual assault at Boulder Highway hotel

Metro Police say they are looking for a suspect in the sexual assault of an employee at a Boulder Highway hotel on Saturday.

Officers were dispatched about 4:30 p.m. to Boulder Station in the 4100 block of Boulder Highway to investigate a report of a person who had been battered and sexually assaulted in a hotel room, police said. The victim was taken to University Medical Center, police said.

A hotel worker was in one of the rooms when a man entered the room, battered and committed a sexual offense against the victim, police said. The suspect left when another employee came to the door, police said.

The suspect was about 25 to 30 years old with a medium build and was wearing a red and black baseball cap, a red and black striped shirt and gray shorts with green patches on the inside of the legs, police said.
