Metro Police said they were investigating a shooting with injuries this morning east of the Las Vegas airport.
The incident was reported about 8:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of East Tropicana Avenue, police said.
Two people were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, one of them in critical condition, police said.
“It is believed there is no outstanding threat to the public,” police said in a statement.
The investigation was ongoing, police said. People were advised to avoid the area.
