Autopsy determines woman died of injuries in car crash

An autopsy concluded that a woman who died nearly two months after a single-car crash succumbed to complications from blunt-force trauma suffered in the wreck, according to Metro Police.

The crash was reported about 7 a.m. on Feb. 9 at Schiff Drive and Wynn Road. The driver, Ana Valle, 37, of Las Vegas was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center with injuries that initially did not appear life threatening, police said.

Valle died on April 7 at University Medical Center. Metro Police today received a report from the Clark County Coroner’s Office with the results of the autopsy.
