A double-fatal crash has shut down U.S. 93 in both directions this morning northeast of Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The highway is closed between Interstate 15 and State Route 168, the patrol said. All lanes are closed and traffic is being diverted onto 168 near Coyote Springs, the patrols said.
The crash involved four vehicles, the patrol said. Photos showed a semitractor-trailer, a pickup truck and two cars with damage.
The patrol advised motorists to use caution in the area.
It was unknown when the road would reopen.
