Animation shows completion of Raiders’ Las Vegas stadium

As the Raiders' Las Vegas stadium project advances, motorists passing the work site that abuts Interstate 15 will notice the progress on their daily commutes.

Those behind the $1.8 billion, 65,000-seat domed stadium have a sense of what the stadium will look like at various stages, utilizing technology to look at the project's future.

Developers created a 4D animation that displays how the construction will progress, simply by pressing play.

The detailed simulation begins when land was initially excavated, then proceeds to when the first concrete beams and steel cranes were erected and continues all the way through the stadium's projected July 31, 2020, completion.

Although developers wish it could be as easy as shown in the animation, the technology helps guide project overseers in the work of the world-class stadium.
