A 79-year-old North Las Vegas woman died after a car crash Tuesday at Decatur and Oakey boulevards in the central valley, according to Metro Police.
A Nissan Altima was making a left turn from southbound Decatur onto eastbound Oakey when it crossed in front of another car and they collided, police said.
The woman, a passenger in the Altima, was taken to University Medical Center and later died, police said. Her name was not released pending notification of family.
The drivers of both cars suffered minor injuries, police said.
The bumper of the Altima came off in the crash and hit a pickup truck stopped at a traffic light on eastbound Oakey, police said. The driver of the truck was not hurt, police said.
