The Terry Bradshaw Show” at Luxor.

If you found all those fabulous Las Vegas plans for this year’s NFL Draft to be a bit overwhelming, you better get used to it. Football is coming to the Strip and it’s going to be a wild ride.

And it won’t be confined to Allegiant Stadium. Luxor announced this week that “The Terry Bradshaw Show” will officially kick off its new residency in March and is booked for dozens of shows through July in the Atrium Showroom, also home to Carrot Top and the “Fantasy” female revue. The legendary NFL quarterback and current broadcast favorite — Did you catch his great line about Jimmy Garappolo’s throwing arm after the San Francisco 49ers clinched a Super Bowl berth? — can also sing a decent tune and entertain through storytelling and sheer charisma, as demonstrated during his fall shows at Luxor. And now Bradshaw will be spending a lot more time in Las Vegas, aka Football Town USA.

The 70-minute show is produced by Anita Mann and was written by Jon Macks with original songs by David Goldsmith and musical direction by Smokin’ Joe Escriba. It’ll play again at 7:30 p.m. March 19-22 and 29, with lots more to come.

More show news this week:

Here’s an even better reason to hit the Sands Showroom at the Venetian Saturday night if you weren’t already planning to do so: The resort will match 100 percent of the proceeds from Human Nature’s benefit performance to help with Australian bushfire relief efforts. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and some tickets are still available here.

TV hunks Joss Mooney and Ross O’Connor from MTV’s “The Challenge” will be the celebrity guest hosts at Chippendales at the Rio for four shows only this week on January 24 and 25. Mooney has appeared on numerous TV shows in the states and the U.K. while O’Connor is a dancer who has also appeared on MTV’s “Ex on the Beach.” Their weekend appearances are set for 8:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Since you listened to my Sun on the Strip podcast this week (right here or at Apple Podcasts), you’re already aware that “Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly” has received a five-year extension at the Linq. Franco is definitely this hotel’s headliner, reinforced by the news that the musical spectacular sharing his theater is relocating to Harrah’s Las Vegas. The Bronx Wanderers arrived in 2016 and moved from Bally’s to the Linq just about a year ago. The group takes its rollicking tour through the American songbook over to the Harrah’s Showroom on February 3. “Since their debut, The Bronx Wanderers have created the magic of rock and roll and connected with audiences from all over,” said Damian Costa, vice president of entertainment operations at Caesars Entertainment. “Their showmanship will be a fantastic addition to Harrah’s.” The show’s schedule is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday through Monday with a 4 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

Carlos Santana returned to his jam-tastic House of Blues residency this week, but not before he revisited the Three Square food bank in North Las Vegas to check in. The guitar god toured the facility, helped pack meals for the Kids Café program and presented President and CEO Brian Burton and Chief Development Officer Michelle Beck with some of the special “Supernatural” print scarves that are being sold through WhyHunger to raise funds for the HungerThon, which assists the food insecure across the country through partnering organizations like Three Square. Santana resumes his Mandalay Bay show on Friday, January 24.

The Delirious Stand-Up Comedy series at the Spare Room at Downtown Grand will bring Christopher “Kid” Reid (from rap duo Kid ‘n Play) to the stage on February 29. In other Vegas comedy bookings, Jim Gaffigan will return to Encore Theater for two shows on June 13, and the Mirage’s Aces of Comedy series has added tons of new dates for stars Chelsea Handler, Ron White, Tim Allen, Ray Romano, David Spade, Tom Segura, Bill Maher, Gabriel Iglesias and Chris D’Elia. These would be the 10 p.m. shows at the Terry Fator Theatre. Find more info at mirage.com/aces.
