A woman found dead late Thursday night near a Henderson neighborhood was the victim of a homicide, authorities said this afternoon.
Henderson Police officers found the woman’s body inside a vehicle about 11 p.m. near McCormick Road and East Galleria Drive.
At the time of the discovery, the officers were helping find the 43-year-old victim, who had been reported missing, police said.
It wasn’t clear how the woman died. Police did not release additional details, citing an open investigation.
The woman will be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after her family is notified.
