A motorist was killed early today when a speeding car hit a curb, went out of control and crashed into a block wall, according to Metro Police.
The crash happened about 1:30 a.m. at Pebble and Manalang roads, west of Bermuda Road, police said.
The driver, a Las Vegas resident, died at the scene, police said. Identification of the victim was pending, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said. It resulted in the seventh traffic fatality of the new year in Metro’s jurisdiction.
