UNLV podcast: What to make of the football team’s season?

The UNLV football team is entering a crucial offseason in the coach Marcus Arroyo tenure.

After polishing off a 2-10 season last week with a loss at Air Force, coaches will quickly work to enhance the roster. They’ll need to find solutions at running back, quarterback and multiple defensive spots.

After all, linebacker Jacoby Windmon — the team’s best player — entered the NCAA transfer portal just two days after the season ended.

The 2022 schedule won’t be easy to navigate with at least nine opponents who are bowl eligible this season.

And what about the UNLV basketball team? They are 4-3 in the initial three weeks of the season and have shown some flashes of good play. But it hasn’t been consistent.
