A Metro Police vehicle was involved in a crash today with a semitruck at Craig Road and Jones Boulevard, police said.
A single officer in the patrol vehicle was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries, police said. Nobody else was hurt, police said.
The northbound lanes of Jones at Craig were temporarily closed following the noon crash but have since reopened, police said.
An investigation is ongoing, police said, and no additional details were immediately released.
