A child pedestrian was killed in a crash Monday night in the 100 block of East Paradise Hills Drive, according to Henderson Police.
The driver of a black coupe lost control of their vehicle, leaving the road and onto the sidewalk and striking a boy, officials said.
The child, who was believed to be age 13, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said speed is considered to be a factor in the crash. They don’t believe the driver was impaired.
Traffic was closed on Greenway Road in both directions for three hours.
