Vegas 34, the new broadcast home for the Golden Knights operated by Scripps Sports, launched today, The E.W. Scripps Company announced.

DirecTV will carry the station on channel 34. Officials haven't announced the channel on Cox Communications or Dish Network.

For those without cable, programming is located on channel 34.1, the free channel for residents in Nevada and surrounding states within the team's broadcast territory. For antenna users, Scripps recommends you rescan your antenna in the event the channel doesn't launch on 34.1.

They will air one game nightly over 25 days leading to the Golden Knights' first preseason game against the San Jose Sharks on Sept. 24. The first game is a good one: Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, which will air 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The launch of the station marks the beginning of a multiyear partnership with Scripps Sports to broadcast Golden Knights games, ending a six-year partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery while airing on AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain.

Warner Bros. chose to leave the regional sports network business after this past season. AT&T SportsNet was the provider for eight sports teams, including the Golden Knights.

In addition to the over-the-air option, the Golden Knights will launch their streaming service — in partnership with ViewLift — on Sept. 24 ahead of the game against the Sharks.

There has been no confirmation yet on if KMCC will be available on cord-cutting platforms YouTube TV and Hulu.
