Investigators were searching for the cause of a fire today at an abandoned apartment building in the central valley, according to the Clark County Fire Department.
Nobody was injured, officials said.
The fire was reported about 8:20 a.m. in the 4800 block of McLeod Drive, near Tropicana and Eastern avenues, officials said.
Smoke and fire appeared to be coming from two apartments on the second floor, officials said. The fire was brought under control within about a half hour, officials said.
No damage estimate was provided.
