Metro Police say they are investigating a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles.
Multiple people were taken to University Medical Center after the wreck, which was reported about 2:30 p.m. near Jones Boulevard and Desert Inn Road, police said. One person was declared dead, police said.
Desert Inn Road is closed in both directions between Jones and Red Rock Street, police said. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
