An 81-year-old Las Vegas man died at a hospital after a traffic crash earlier this month, according to Metro Police.
The man, whose name was not released, died Tuesday at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
The crash was reported about 1:30 p.m. on March 16 at Hacienda Avenue and Pecos Road, police said.
The man was driving north on Pecos when he ran a red light and collided with a van in the intersection, police said.
He was taken to the hospital with injuries that did not appear life threatening, police said.
The driver of the van, a 38-year-old Las Vegas woman, and two of five children in the vehicle reported injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
