Metro Police said they were investigating a triple shooting this morning in the Spring Valley area that left one person dead.
The shooting was reported about 4:25 a.m. at a home in the 4400 block of Libby Drive, near Torrey Pines Drive and Harmon Avenue, police said.
Officers found three people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said. Two people were taken to University Medical Center in unknown condition, while a third person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No additional details were immediately released.
Police said the investigation was ongoing and warned that Harmon might be closed between Libby and Peterson drives.
