A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman last month, according to Metro Police.
The shooting happened about 9 p.m. on April 23 in the 3400 block of Bella Lante Avenue, police said.
The victim was walking when gunfire came from an unknown vehicle, police said.
Officers found the woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. She was taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Detectives subsequently identified the teen as a suspect, police said. He was taken into custody Wednesday and booked at Clark County Juvenile Hall on a count of murder and two counts of attempted murder, police said.
