A male who was wounded in a shooting this morning was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 10:40 a.m. today in the 4000 block of University Center Drive, east of the Las Vegas Strip, police said.
Officers located the victim, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Metro said the investigation was ongoing and advised people to avoid the area because of the large police presence.
