Pedestrian dies days after being hit by vehicle in Las Vegas

A pedestrian died days after being hit by a vehicle last week in Las Vegas, according to a Metro Police news release.

The Thursday evening collision occurred on Boulder Highway north of Flamingo Road. The driver did not stop after the collision and fled the scene, police stated.

The pedestrian, identified as 18-year-old Brianna Roberson, was transported to Sunrise Hospital after the crash.

On Sunday, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police didn’t release any information on a possible suspect. A witness described the vehicle as a “dark-colored sedan,” the release stated. The crash remains under investigation.
