A pedestrian who was hit by a pickup truck last month as she was crossing a Las Vegas street has died from her injuries, according to Metro Police.
The incident was reported about 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 5 at Eastern and Harris avenues, police said.
The pedestrian, a 20-year-old Las Vegas woman, was crossing Eastern in a crosswalk when she was struck by the northbound truck, police said.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not meet the criteria for Metro’s fatal accident detail to respond, police said,
The Clark County Coroner’s Office today notified Metro that the woman died, police said.
The driver, a 49-year-old Las Vegas man, was not injured, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
