Woman accused of falsely posing as lawyer in Nevada

A woman was arrested and charged today with fraudulently posing as an attorney in Nevada, according to a Metro Police news release.

Cenia Poulsen, 36, is accused of portraying herself as an attorney since January 2022 and accepting money to file documents through the court systems, including divorces, legal reviews and insights, name changes and adoptions and defrauding multiple victims in the process, the release stated. Detectives stated Poulsen also worked under the names Cenia Del Pozo and Cenia Carillo.

Charges against Poulsen include forgery, theft, preparing simulated legal documents and offering false instrument for public office filing, according to police.
