A 22-year-old Las Vegas woman was killed when a pickup truck hit a disabled car on the shoulder of Interstate 15, according to Nevada State Police.
The crash happened about 2:15 a.m. Saturday just south of Cheyenne Avenue, police said. The truck was headed north when it ran off the road and hit the car, which was on the left shoulder, police said.
A passenger in the car, Suzanne Chapel, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The drivers of the car and truck were taken to an area hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash was under investigation, police said.
