A woman was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound at a Las Vegas Strip hotel after officers conducted a welfare check, Metro Police said.
Officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. today to a hotel in the 3700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South for the welfare check, police said.
The woman was found unconscious with an apparent gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No additional details were released.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the woman’s name as well as the cause and manner of death, police said.
