Eric Williams, 44, seen in a booking photo, turned himself in at Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, in relation to a Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 homicide, according to Metro Police.
Metro Police today arrested a suspect in a Sunday homicide, according to a news release.
Eric Alexander Williams, 44, was identified as a suspect. He turned himself in at Clark County Detention Center and was booked on open murder charges, the release stated.
Police initially found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound near a vehicle parked on the street in the 4900 block of Holt Avenue on Sunday evening, according to the release. Reports indicated the victim had been in a verbal dispute with another man before being shot. The suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.
The investigation is still ongoing.
