Officers found the body of the man believed to be in his early 50s while they were responding to a welfare check at a residence in the 1700 block of Ingraham Street at about 6:30 a.m. this morning, the release stated.

Homicide detectives were notified and have taken over the investigation, which is still in its preliminary stages.

At this time, there have been no arrests, but detectives say they believe it to be an isolated incident, the release stated.
