A man was arrested Monday in the shooting death of a neighbor, who was found dead in a driveway, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 7:05 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Starling Meadows Place in the northwest valley, police said.
Officers found a person suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the driveway of a home, police said. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
The victim’s neighbor Eddi Moreno, 32, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on a count of open murder, police said.
The victim had been in a verbal altercation with Moreno before the shooting, police said. Police did not indicate the nature of the argument.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the victim, police said.
