Biker dies after crashing into vehicle in Las Vegas

A biker was killed in a vehicle collision late Friday afternoon, according to a Metro Police news release.

The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on North Nellis Boulevard north of Goodin Way.

As a 2012 Ford Flex was attempting a U-turn, the motorcycle, traveling at a high rate of speed, hit the rear of the other vehicle, causing the rider to be ejected, the release stated.

Arriving personnel declared the 23-year-old rider dead at the scene, police stated.

No injuries were claimed by the driver of the Ford and only minor injuries claimed by one of its juvenile passengers. The driver showed no signs of impairment, the release stated.
