Two charged in death of man found in vehicle in June, Las Vegas police say

Two suspects have been charged in a June fatal shooting, according to a Metro Police news release.
April Fontenot, 44, and Jeremiah Fontenot, 19, were identified by detectives as the suspects in the death of a man found with gunshot wounds on June 23, Metro stated. April Fontenot was arrested Friday by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. Jeremiah Fontenot was arrested Monday by Los Angeles Police.
Both were booked into the Century Regional Detention Facility pending extradition back to Las Vegas.
The man was initially found inside a vehicle in the 5300 block of East Craig Road, and he died at the scene.
According to police, the man had been speaking with an acquaintance when two suspects approached and shot him multiple times.
The Fontenots will both be booked for open murder with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit murder upon their return to Las Vegas, police stated.
