Las Vegas will mark America’s 250th birthday by stretching Independence Day into an eight-week spectacle, with rotating fireworks displays across the Strip and downtown on Saturdays from June 6 through July 25.

The America250 Fireworks Celebration, designed and produced by Fireworks by Grucci in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Las Vegas Events, will pair eight-minute pyrotechnic shows with synchronized music broadcast on Lotus stations KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point and 98.9 HANK FM, along with complementary visuals on the Sphere’s Exosphere, turning the skyline into a coordinated, multisensory display.

“Las Vegas is always a hot ticket for summer travel, and this year, the celebrations will reach new heights,” said Steve Hill, president and CEO of the LVCVA. “We’re marking America’s 250th anniversary with fireworks lighting up the skyline across eight consecutive Saturdays, alongside everything visitors expect from a city that’s all in, all the time.”

Fireworks by Grucci, a sixth-generation, family-owned company known as “America’s First Family of Fireworks,” has produced displays for eight consecutive presidential inaugurations and Olympic Games in Beijing, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Lake Placid, N.Y.

Launch sites will rotate throughout the series, shifting between the Strip and downtown resort corridors. The first three Saturdays in June will feature shows from Caesars Palace, Treasure Island and the Venetian (June 6); MGM Grand, Aria and Planet Hollywood (June 13); and the Plaza, Binion’s Gambling Hall and the Fremont Street Experience parking garages (June 20). The June 27 show will move to the north Strip, with displays from Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and The Strat.

The July 4 show will serve as the centerpiece, with a synchronized display launched from nine rooftops across the Strip, billed as the nation’s largest Fourth of July fireworks show. The remaining Saturdays — July 11, July 18 and July 25 — will repeat the earlier rotation of launch sites.

The fireworks series anchors the city’s new summer tourism campaign, “Pack for Vegas,” promoting headline residencies, new productions and a slate of entertainment options across the resort corridor — with eight straight Saturdays of fireworks lighting the skyline.

The “Pack for Vegas” promotion, according to the LVCVA, highlights the breadth of experiences available this summer, from Las Vegas’ high-energy dayclubs and immersive attractions to new venues and major live events, reinforcing Las Vegas as a destination built for unforgettable experiences.

In conjunction with the "Pack for Vegas" promotion and as part of the America250 "The Great American Road Trip" initiative, the LVCVA is encouraging travel this summer from three of Las Vegas' largest drive markets. Las Vegas tourism officials will host surprise-and-delight pop-up activations today across Los Angeles County, San Diego and the Phoenix-Scottsdale area, offering the first 100 cars $100 in gas. Drivers can also take photos with showgirls and enter for a chance to win a two-night stay in Las Vegas.
