GOP has cost America dearly

What price do President Donald Trump’s supporters in the Senate place on our national reputation? How much have they been paid to overlook the obvious high crimes and misdemeanors perpetrated by this man?

What promises or payoffs do they expect to receive as they take their places in history as the most self-serving and corrupt minions of the most self-serving and corrupt president in American history?

Republicans don’t have the backbone to get off the Trump train, but Americans will exercise their roles as deciders-in-chief in November and, as President Gerald Ford once said about Watergate, “our long national nightmare” will finally be over.
