In response to the April 4 letter “Trump blew virus response”: The writer conveniently omits the president’s Jan. 31 order to ban foreign nationals from China from entering the United States.
At the time, Joe Biden, Democrats and liberals in general all decried it as racist and xenophobic. In retrospect, it undoubtedly saved countless American lives.
The writer made some good points, but the good of the travel ban far outweighs the bad.
